Thailand losing $80 million per day

For a second day in a row, flights into and out of BKK is being cancelled by airlines around the world, first only on Wednesday, and later, announced as being cancelled indefinitely until situation stabilizes.

This is a blow to Thailand’s $29 billion tourism industry, and if you divide that by 365, effectively Thailand is losing close to $80 million per day each day the airport is closed. And with the loss of confidence on the political stability, the loss is probably going to be a bigger amount than that when all this is over.

10 Palette From Benefit

Make up review, 10 Palette from Benefit.

Girls, you must be wondering what a weird name. What exactly is it? I was wondering the same thing. 10 is a duo delectable pink and bronze powders. Now comes in a palette together with a eye shadow, highlighter, and 2 lipstick shade.

It’s a good all in one palette on the go. Currently it’s my regular make up palette. It has all the natural color for your eyes, cheeks and lips.

This Benefit powder duo bronzes & highlights in one sexy sweep to give you sleek, sculpted cheekbones. We’ve chosen two seductive shades for lips & complimentary shades for your eyes. We like to call it “sexy to the max.” Limited edition.

Bronze and highlight in one sexy sweep for a supermodel glow. This satiny pink and bronze powders give you sleek, sculpted cheekbones. Simply sweep (don’t swirl!) your brush over the dual powder and apply to cheekbones – highlighter on top, bronzer on bottom and…Voila, you’re a perfect 10! Apply to cheekbones, décolleté, anywhere! We won’t tell!

Source Benefit

I enjoy the bronze eye shadow and the lipstick. Very natural and it comes with a mini brush as u can see. You don’t have to worry what matches what cause it’s already set for you. It’s so easy and you can bring it anywhere with you in one palette.

One more thing with Benefit products at the back of the product always shows a diagram and comes with a instruction manual and a tip on how to apply the product.

Experiment and enjoy!

How to run a Con

One good way in learning how not to get conned, is to understand the dynamics of a con.

I ran into this “How to run a con” article, and although not very detailed itself, if you refer to its other pages that explains the “THOMAS” theory, it sums it up pretty nicely.

Enjoy!

How to avoid scams and hoaxes

It’s amazing how some people still get cheated by scams and hoaxes, even though the Internet have been around for more than a decade. News like this are simply unbelievable, and for her to lose $400k over such a long period of time with ample time for research and warning from others, can be classified as downright stupid by most people.

It’s so easy to find out if something is a scam or a hoax. Simply use Google and append “hoax” or “scam” in your search query, and voila! massive research material for you to decide if an opportunity is a hoax or not. It’s ridiculously easy that I wonder why people don’t do that and still continue to forward emails that had been documented as hoaxes all these while, emails such as the ATM secret pins etc.

Shu Uemura Pinky Blusher and Pearly Loose Powder

Lazy weekend make up review! Sometime ago my friend told me about Shu Uemura pearly loose powder. She told me that she looks flawless and sparkle in pictures and that i should try it out. I was curious and wonder, is it really that good?! At that time the pearly loose powder is new to the market, not that many people know about it.

Wait no more, i went to Shu Uemura counter and decided to try it out. It’s just like any normal loose powder except, it’s mix with very fine glitter. That explains where the sparkle came from. It’s not very glittery you can barely see it on your face, but it does brighten up the face and looks fresh and shinny in pictures ( in a good way, not oily shinny)

The make up consultant recommend for night use. The glitter will shine more to brighten up the face at night. You can also use it for day if you don’t mind a little glittery effect on your face. It definitely gives a more polished look compare to the normal loose powder.

You can even pad it on your shoulders when you wear a tube top for that extra glittery effect, great for clubs or a night party. Bare in mind that it’s very fine glitter with just that extra luminosity. I wear it for day and night. Doesn’t make any difference to me. I have to agree with my friend that it does gives you that polished look rather than normal loose powder. So when you want to set your make up, think what are the options you prefer. By the way the powder can last very long.

Another one of my favourites from Shu Uemura is their blusher. The Japanese made the right colors for Asian skin tone. I especially love the pinky flush look. I’m sure you know what i mean when you see the cute Japanese girls with their rosy cheek. You can get it from Shu Uemura blusher. It compliments Asian skin tone very well compare to the other western countries where by they focus more on olive skin tone. As you can see my blusher is finishing. This is my 2nd one :) I have another color with orange sun kissed blusher also by Shu Uemura. Love it! Looks like my cheeks just got a tan from the sun.
